1) Who will manage all the work involved?

Karen Daniels, business owner of Cosmopolitan Planner will personally handle and or supervise every step needed to complete your move. From time to time, when required, Karen may enlist service providers who will report directly to her to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.

2) How will you benefit from hiring a moving planner?
It is the feeling of being stress free that is the ultimate benefit. Our services are ideal for the business person or someone that does not have the time to plan out their move or house improvement. You may be a full-time employee, run your own business or have a family with children. You may be elderly or persons with health issues that will find moving or planning too draining to complete on your own.

3) Who hires the moving company and or home improvement trades person's)?
You will ultimately be making the final decision; however we will work together to find the best fit for you, either through our recommendations or one by your personal choice. We will work hand in hand with your company of choice and include them in the overall plan to ensure a seamless move and/or home improvement. You will be responsible for paying the moving company directly and tradesman directly .

4) If needed, can we make changes to the schedule of our move or home improvement?
Give us a call and we can definitely discuss an alternative date/time, given enough notice prior to the original moving date and or home improvement. We are very flexible and understanding to circumstances that may arise in our everyday lives.

5) Will you be present on moving day or home improvement day's?
We will absolutely be present, unless you request differently. Our presence will give you peace of mind and assurance that all arrangements are followed through accordingly to plan.

6) How do you calculate the fee’s for your services?
The total fee has 3 parts:
a.  The planning and coordinating of your move, including your move-in is billed by the hour
b. The planning and coordinating of your @ Home Improvement Service Projects are billed by the hour in       addition to the hourly rate of the project being completed.
c. The total fees charged by the packers, cleaners, movers, tradesmen etc. are reported and approved by you, the client first via e-mail by myself prior to a final agreement made. These fees are paid directly to the tradesmen by you, the client.

7) How are the payments made for all the services rendered by Cosmopolitan  Planner?

       Our work begins with a contract and your signature, and a receipt of a 50% deposit. The balance is due upon completion of the project. At this time, payment is made by either certified check or cash.
